Materials
• Yarn: Any Aran (10 ply) yarn that matches the tension below.
• Sample shown in Paintbox Yarns Wool Mix Aran – Champagne White (802).
• Buttons: 8 buttons (4 for each side of the top).
Knitting Needles:
• Pair of 4 mm needles (UK8 / US5)
• Pair of 5 mm needles (UK6 / US8)
Other: Tapestry needle for sewing up, stitch holders or waste yarn.
Tension (Gauge)
18 stitches and 24 rows to 10 cm (4 inches) over stocking (stockinette) stitch using 5 mm needles.
