Materials
Flowers – DK Yarn
• 2 x 50 g balls of yellow yarn, used double
• 1 x 50 g ball of brown yarn, used double
• 8 flowers are required for the pictured container size
Leaves, Sepals & Stems – DK Yarn
• 2 x 50 g balls of dark green yarn, used single
• 8 leaves are required
• The dark green yarn is also used for the sepals and stems on each flower and for covering the canes

Needles: 1 pair of 3¼ mm needles (UK 10 / US 3), plus double-pointed needles in the same size.

Stalks & Assembly
You will need 8 garden canes, cut to your preferred sunflower height. Cover each cane by winding dark green yarn around it and sewing the yarn securely at both ends. Attach the knitted sunflowers and leaves by stitching them to the wrapped yarn.
